Jam

Today my pal Cath hosted a crafternoon, where we tried out Jam making...

started early, by heading to the pick your own farm and gathering the fruit... Then back to Cath's for some lunch, then lot's of preparing, washing, sugaring and stiring before pots of jam were finally produced.

This is Karen in the picture along with many strawberries, the final jammy goodness can be seen here..

I've yet to try it, as it was at nuclear temperature, but I have some scones lined up for when it cools and sets...
