The old feather and water drops shot.

11:55pm and I just managed to get this shot in before my chance of a blip today slipped away forever.

This is quite a large feather for a pheasant to lose.

If I lose an eyelash or a nasal hair, it's no big deal, but then it's not half the size of one of my limbs.

Do they just grow another feather or is that it, one feather down till the end?
