Ironbridge

You should have seen my Dad's face light up when he saw this! This was the first cast iron bridge built in the world. Ironbridge actually covers about 10 museums but we only did three! Great value and a brilliant way of gettinig to grips with an era of British history which I knew little about - the start of the industrial revolution.

We also saw the tile museum - absolutely beautiful, and spent many happy hours going round the reconstructed Victorian village. Dad loves chatting to folk and all the crafts(wo)men were fascinating and full of information. I think he would have been quite happy to have been left there!
