Suryia & Roscoe

This is a wonderful book about the friendship between an orangutan named Suryia and a dog named Roscoe that began at a wildlife preserve in South Carolina. This is a true story. I remember seeing this in a documentary about unusual animal friends and it was delightful. There was an article in the newspaper about it so I decided to send off for the book. As it happens it was written for children but hey I am a very old child. The photographs are wonderful.
