i LEAVE BEHIND
for some time my orchid, gave it some water, a kiss, and good-bye.
The journey went from The Hague to Amersfoort, Osnabrück, Altenbeken and after many hours we reach Karlshafen. How wonderful to see our home here.
I am very curious how I will find my plants, the flowers. And guess what the first thing I find on a leaf is a grasshopper, a bit bigger than the one I blipped. And the strange thing is that I am not surprised that is what I like to happen and I am rewarded. The hopper hops away, probably I will not see it again.
She was only there as a sign. The sign that everything is ok here too.
During the day I made some photos, of buildings, of flowers between the rails, of Piet Hein, even of the fanfare corps in Altenbeken, where we had a stop of 40 minutes. And some more. In the end I discarded these and choose my orchid.
The haiku I started in the train (in one of the many trains)
The journey of the day is very long
My eyes got tired of the changing landscapes
Under the oaktree the birds are singing.
The proverb is from Italy and I am not sure what exactly it tells me:
On a long journey even a straw is heavy.
It is late now and to-morrow I start fresh looking at my fellow-blippers-pictures.
