Old Buildings

Aberdeen is full of gorgeous historical buildings. Most of them shine brighter than the sun in an otherwise gloomy city. Some, like this one, are left to rot.

I was very young during the late Seventies but vividly remember the difference between the old look, when everything felt gloomy and from the Fifties, to the new, bright, neon, computer age of the Eighties.

These old buildings that still remain today, remind me of my early childhood where I witnessed so many buildings and shops disappear to make way for the new decade.
