Another Party

Two parties in a row is a bit much for C and me, but we weren't daunted. This one was a birthday party for our friend Andy, and three of his friends who all hit the 50 mark this year. It was held on the dead-end street where a couple of the celebrants live.

The party had all the essential ingredients -- good food and beer, live music, and interesting people. C and I were surprised by the number of attendees that we knew, and the different ways they were connected.

Halfway through the evening we were treated to a spectacular thunderstorm with torrential rain. I don't know how Andy managed to arrange it, but everybody was impressed. After the rain ended, the Smouldering Man smouldered very nicely.
