VIP

Took the kids to the cinema and went through the usual debacle of booking VIP seats only for the staff to start checking tickets once the film had started. They had no clue who actually had bought VIP seats and who had just wandered into the VIP section.

Do we really need a VIP section? Everyone knows the cinemas make their money from the concession stands, so they should do away with these, or make all seats VIP standard.

A full ten minutes into the film and the usher was still asking to see everyones tickets to make sure they hadn't wandered in by accident. I feel an email to the manager coming on...

Just as well I smuggled my Starbucks in.
