for the last month we've had the twins come to our house early in the morning and come to school with us. they've been a fantastically calming influence and have spent most mornings making diamond mines out of duplo. they have got themselves all sorted out for future careers as a gemologist and doctor working for a gemologist.

swam by myself and swam again in the afternoon with the kids at the baths that time forgot. by the afternoon it had become the land that hot water had forgot as their boiler decided that it had had enough.
