Field of bales

Another photo which evokes Summer to me. Being brought up in a farming community I love to see bales all ready to be taken into storage. Their shape now is completely different . They used to be rectangular and yes I even remember haystacks! The highlight of the school summer holidays used to be going over to my Grandparents farm when they were harvesting and tea was taken out to the field. Tea, bread and jam never tasted so good.

Had a walk round Stirling Uni campus with Rona this afternoon. Lovely and warm but the sky just a little threatening.

Homemade steak pie for tea tonight. Fiona will be here for tea so we will catch up on all her news.
