Home again
Well that's it folks, for this year. Holiday over, back to Edinburgh and soon to work.
On the way back from the Black Isle we stopped off at the Blair Atholl Watermill and Tearoom, in our continued search to find the best rural tea rooms in Scotland. This did not disappoint, both in terms of the tea and cakes, the take away bread and scones (yet to be consumed) and a dinky little tea towel to replace one of rather battered ones.
Back home to piles of washing, phone messages from people who unaccountably forget we have mobiles, and piles of 'crap' post with not one interesting item there at all.
Not sure how I feel about being home again. Usually, when I've been away for two weeks it's huge relief. Not today, though. Pleasure to be back on my own chair, making my own cups of tea. But missing the splendid places we have seen and been. This was certainly one of our very best holidays and the photos I have been able to post and which have often garnered quite a few comments are testimony to the excellent weather we have.
Finally, our excellent frame of mind (both of us) is reflected in the quality of holiday 'tat' we have brought back. Some of it may feature on blip in the future!
