It's been a long road

Went to the now defunct railway today with HS and ZL, and we persevered for quite the distance under the unrelenting sun. As I complained to a friend about the singapore version of ghiblis, I saw this elderly couple saunter past my half-dehydrated self.

And I felt like such a failure. Not just because they obviously beat my 20-year old body in terms of physical stamina, but also because they are able to do what I seem utterly incapable of: maintaining a relationship.

Cue sad face.

But eh well. Things will get better. It's me who has to change, and if I can, the world is in my hands!
