Cabbage
All the Broad beans have been cooked and eaten, mostly by me and the runner beans are still four weeks away so it's cabbage for todays Sunday dinner.
I think I shall start with a very LARGE Jack Daniels, on the rocks, how else.
Then, when just about to carve the joint I shall open a bottle of Merlot or mayby Shiraz.
Now then, for dinner this evening we have.
Roast Sirloin of beef, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, creamed potatoes, the said cabbage, carrots, pepper sauce, english mustard, horseraddish, very thick gravy and anything else that Jane can think of.
I think I may give cheese and biscuits a miss, not sure yet :-)
I'll catch up with commenting later when I wake up.
