Rain and more rain

Was sad to leave Creative Arts camp today. Said goodbye to all the campers and helped the rest of the team clear up/played football with the two little kids who were there. It was raining for most of the morning, but we stopped at Gretna on the way home and it was quite nice while we were there.

When we got home, I was inside and there was a flash of lightening and rumble of thunder pretty much at the same time, I got such a fright! I'm not sure exactly where it hit but it was very close.

Today is my parents' 23rd anniversary so we had a take-out Chinese at home to celebrate, mmm.

This last week has been so amazing, it's been so great to see kids transform and be filled with joy and hope! I'm definitely going back to help next year if I'm able to :)
