Holiday planning

Many young people after school or college take a gap year out to travel. Our lassy didn't. She went to Teacher Training College, but that didn't work out for her.
She worked in an Italian restaurant for a year before going back to University to study Phsychology. She completed a BSc and went on to a Masters Degree. She passed that and went on to do a PhD. More time went by in study and research. Finally she was successful and completed her Degree.

She came home for a few short months and planned her gap year now past 30 years old. She worked hard and saved every penny, well almost every penny. She read about where she wanted to go from these books amongst others. She planned. Now she is in Thailand and about to fly to Australia. She is having a great time, She deserves to.

I wonder when we shall see her again but at the same time I wish her every happiness.
I envy her because I never had a gap year. But there you are, we are all different.
