Fisherman's friends

Looking like an advert for the notoriously strong mints, Fin and Niamh stand proud holding their catch.

The mackeral was caught in 1 second. The line was cast and instantly had a bite. With the kids chanting 'Go Dad, Go Dad' I hauled it in.

We were very pleased because 2 other fishing trips to the harbour had yielded no fish.

The other little fish we think is a codling.
