From the road
We're busy traveling, and I haven't posted in a while...but will try to do better! I took this over a week ago. I took this shot of the Lake Michigan shoreline from a high point at Sleeping Bear Dunes national Seashore. A hot and slippery hike (sand is hard to hike on!) but worth it. This sand was actually deposited by a glacier during the last ice age. Wind blue some of it south to form smaller dunes on the lakeshore, Great Lakes were river valleys that were widened by glaciers... you learn a lot travelling!
