Out of this world

While out walking the dog this afternoon, I came upon one of the devices used to measure the seismic activity here in north Texas. We are not exactly on the Ring of Fire, but as we pump more and more gas and oil out of the ground, we seemingly are having more earthquakes. These little guys are all over downtown Fort Worth. I am not sure if I should be amused or appauled. Since I lived for over 10 years in San Francisco and probably 20 years at various points on the Pacific coastline, I am not letting it worry me much yet.

Tomorrow is my first day back to work in over two weeks. WOW!!! And I can say I would willingly stay home for another two weeks. But alas, I probably wouldn't get paid. So it will be off to work I go tomorrow morning. Ready or not, here I come.
