Dinner al fresco

The temperatures are building again, so after church this morning, followed by lunch, we settled on a cool, relaxing afternoon, watching the U.S.vs Japan Women's World Cup soccer match. We were disappointed the US didn't win, but if they had to lose, I'm glad it was to Japan - they certainly could do with some good news to focus on for a while. So, for today's blip, you get our evening meal, eaten outside on the patio - by about 6.30 pm, when we ate, the temperature had cooled down sufficiently! This was a new recipe - Marinated flank steak and Mexican corn and bean salad - it was delicious! Laura has now gone out with a friend for the evening to watch the final Harry Potter movie!
