Forest majesty

Walked in Lynn Valley Canyon today with our son. We have walked in this canyon for years as we used to live very near to it. Haven't been back in a while. But it was his request and seeing as it was his birthday weekend, off we went. We were surprised at the number of people on the trails. It used to be rare to see others and then they were hard core hikers, mountain bikers, runners etc. Today the trails were full of kids and families and lots of tourists. It has clearly become a destination!

The canyon is magnificent no matter what and we managed to find some more secluded trails. This river roars through it with majestic beauty. Lovely afternoon. ;-)
