Gowanus Canal, Trash

I've seen these bins on another day but wasn't able to get a direct line of sight to them until today. Most (all?) of the streets that run perpendicular to the Gowanus Canal (the Canal is just outside the bottom of the frame), dead end at the Canal and offer no way to traverse the canal along its edge. The canal is some tricky business - dirty, dangerous and industrial with a "view at your own risk" feel. It's not something you want to really generally get near, except in crossing it to head over to Prospect Park. But it does, occasionally, have unintentional beauty.
