Only another 39 days to go

A false dawn ... the sun was shining, all seemed calm the day after St Swithin's. In the middle of a shopping trip the sky darkened and the heavens opened up and a flash torrential downpour. Soaked in a couple of footsteps ... as for the roses? They soaked it all up.

If the legend is correct ... we only have another 39 days to go ... better dig out the wellies!
