Its summer!!

Down to the sandy beach today to build sandcastles! The kids paddling in the water must have been freezing - I can remember paddling in the height of summer and once the water got past my calves I was so cold that my legs felt like someone was shooting needles down them - wasn't a pleasant experience - since then I have kept out of the sea near home but would happily spend a day paddling and swimming about in the Med...

Anyway a lovely afternoon but the usual pile of sand on the floor of my car after we got home - where does it all come from?
