Sunshine in Broad Daylight

I have been told my 13 year old cat, Sunshine, has some 'peek-a-boo' liniage. I have never found scientific proof that this exisits but she has something...that makes her pupils stay enormous ALL the time. It gives her a very youthful and amorous look, so she is received as being lovable, which she is...I'm just not sure which caused which...
anyway, today, in broad, blinding daylight, I caught her in a rare moment of restricted pupils...looks SO odd!
