Moving Water

I love the way water looks in long exposure pictures so when I managed to do this one today i had to blip it. I don't tend to use a tripod at all - it's bad enough taking a 35mm camera everywhere without having a tripod in my bag too - but I have become pretty adept over time at finding something to rest the camera on and hold it still. This was a 1.6 second exposure so I'm fairly chuffed with it.

it was also just before taking this photo that I realised that I'd managed to accidentally change the ISO setting on the camera from Auto to 3200 meaning that most of the photos I'd taken earlier today are much more grainy than I want - could have kicked myself when i noticed.
