Nordsee

Ostsee Kanal, or as we say in England, the Kiel Canal. Impressive locking but no detectable change in water level. We were allowed in the big new locks with the grownup ship this morning. Overnight stop at Rendsburg, which is twinned with Lancaster, giving a warm glow even to those of us brought up in Westmorland.
