God, it's hard work turning 2...

The day was a full-blown, all day celebration of Sam's second birthday. Very successful in every way.

He enjoyed it too - despite the gloomy expression on his face here. This is his after-dinner ice-cream, shortly before going to bed. I think he was exhausted.

There were better pictures of him with his cake - but sadly I didn't take them, and being way too obedient to blip-rules, I didn't publish them here... friends and family can see them on Flickr though.
