Trip up to Rutland Water today to see a Spotted Sandpiper, a very rare visitor from North America - pretty poor light, but got reasonable views through the telescope when it was at its closest, maybe 200m away and it wasn't raining, so have pity on RCB's effort.

If you want to see a better shot then you better fly over to MsGable.

It's RCBs 200th tomorrow, so I've told Mrs L we'll be out hunting for a sexy bird - she didn't seem entirely chuffed.
