Baited and Waited

And waited.

After a refreshing swim in the pool I camped out in the back yard with my camera trained on the birdbath/feeder (not shown). I had baited it with seed and peanuts hoping to draw a Bluejay or something like that. After about 5-10 minutes a small sparrow took the bait and landed in the feeder. I got some decent shots of him but than these Yellow Finches landed on this other feeder which was closer to where I was sitting. Snap! Blip done!

If you look close enough you can see three birds here. The tail of a small female purple finch is visible in the lower right. She was on the back side of the feeder.
