Edinburgh tumbling

I was at the City Chambers this evening collecting younger lad from a reception held by the Lord & Lady Provost for the Scottish Youth Theatre summer school participants. Coming out into the crowds, I tried to catch the sun on the East Lothian beach visible in the distance. It didn't seem to come out well, but on the PC screen the steepness of the High St as it slopes down towards the east startled me, in particular the way the No 35 bus seems to be on some kind of urban helter skelter slope.
