The winter oaks

This morning I ran via K Road to the Auckland Domain, doing my standard circuit within the Domain that I take before heading back home. The sun was almost risen as I started, and there were some interesting views in K Road.

However, because this week the challenge is summer/winter, I chose to follow the sound advice given me by S, that this reprise of Under the dappled leaves was the one for today.

The large building on the left is the Auckland War Memorial Museum, the dome being a recent (last few years) addition.
