Summer

In Ottawa that means fresh produce from the local farmers for those of us who have no space and/or inclination to have their own garden.

I tried to grow tomatoes and the squirrels picked them all. They didn't like them. they took one bite and threw them away but it didn't stop them from picking them. And when I tried to grow lettuce the grounghog ate it all so I quit trying.
