Modhesh

This little chap crops up all over Dubai during summer and is a sure sign that it is hot. It's called Modesh and is part of what is called 'Dubai Summer Surprises' - an attempt by the government to persuade tourists that it is a good idea to come and sample Dubai's 'sun-drenched beaches' during the summer months when all right minded expats have fled to cooler climes. They'll find out why hotels are so cheap here at the moment soon enough as they fry by the pool...
