Lamp Box

Took the more scenic route home following a game of squash after work.
I stopped briefly to take this photo of a letter box, which is also known as a Lamp Box.

This one was made by the Carron Company, Stirlingshire.

I hadn't been observant enough to notice that our post boxes have different letters on them depending on which King or Queen reigned at the time. There are very few "Victoria" post boxes remaining.
