Surprising

I bought in a load of pak choi that the bugs were trying to eat and left this one on the side of the breakfast bar, a large clump of dirt still moist around the roots. The vegetable produced a mass of surprising yellow flowers that reached for the ceiling.

Finding it difficult tonight. On call as an NHS manager and we have a little crisis which has meant closing one of our local hospitals. At 10pm I'll be joining a conference call involving half a dozen hospitals to see how people are coping and whether they are managing to share the patients out between them (particularly the intensive care ones).

Will be more blip focused tomorrow. Would help if it would stop raining of course.
