A jewelled web
I was surprised to wake up to a foggy morning today, with an autumnal feel in the air (what's happened to Summer?). The spiders' webs were lined with tiny droplets, each refracting the light. The background was colourless so I've darkened it to give a greater contrast with the drops, and each of the drops is now refracting the light from the field beyond to create a thousand miniature worlds.
There was just time this morning to rush up to Harefield Parrock to take this and a few other foggy pictures, before heading for work and a day of teleconferences and deadlines. I'm still feeling under the weather since the weekend, so will try and get a reasonably early night.
Probably worth viewing large.
