Big Busker

When I was a kid I learnt the Violin.

The violin was quite portable, my dad sometimes strapped it to his motorbike with me riding pillion to get me to and from my violin lessons when I was a lad.

Seeing this guy today got me thinking...

At what point in someone's childhood do they decide that they might want to play the double bass, or harp, or timpani, or tuba, or pipe organ...

You'd have to come from a certain type of family and certain type of background wouldn't you.

For instance, I know for a fact I'd be unable to fit a Harp in the boot of my Fiat 500, (should my 6 year old daughter decide she'd like to take it up)
