Spent most of the afternoon with one eye on the tv watching the select committee 'grilling' the Murdochs & Rebekah Brooks - depressing on several levels, not least that the MPs were mostly a waste of space.

Don't get me started!

Anyway, on the good news front, my car passed its MOT and we have some gorgeous flowers in the garden, including this pretty fuchsia in one of the hanging baskets. I've blipped it before here but it's grown since then.

And another thing, how does someone manage to smuggle a plate of shaving foam into one of the places you'd expect huge levels of security and how 'amateur hour' does that makes us look in the eyes of the world??

Time to distract myself with chocolate I think...
