Champions

This is not technically a great photograph but it sums up my day and the joy that fills my heart tonight. Another busy day at tournament with Tiff competing in 4 games again, Rimu in two and Todd in two. At the end of today the South Island teams were selected. Now let me explain...... Back in April 20 of our students headed off to Karamea to compete alongside 6 other teams across a range of sports for our part of the Top of the South Island (there is another area that covers the Canterbury area, roughly speaking) From that a few were selected to go up to Tapawera to try out alongside the Canterbury Area Schools to represent the whole of the Top of the South - from this three of our students were selected to represent TOSI up here in Taupo.
Today Tiff and Rimu (standing up Rimu in dark grey top and Tiff with pink trim) were selected to represent the WHOLE OF THE SOUTH ISLAND in volleyball. Tomorrow they will play a game against the Rep team from the whole of the North Island to go up for a National Rep team. As if this wasn't AWESOME enough, Tiff also got selected for the South Island team in Basketball and Futsal (indoor soccer)
I am so immensely proud of them all and hearing their names called out reduced me to tears (not that that is difficult!)
We will be celebrating big time tonight
