Bubble Machine
20months 29days
A fun time playing with bubble machines is a good way to start the day, for definite! We had H&A for the day. Aiden and Katie were laughing hysterically at the bubbles, and their dog thought them fabulous too.
We all went to tea and toast, and as a collective us mums looked after Emma too so in the time we were there (2hours!) I changed 7nappies, thanks to a teething Aiden. Katie and Aiden both fell alseep on the way home and transferred happily to cot and bed when we arrived at our house. On waking, the boys ate everything they could lay their hands on. Katie was still full from lots of fruit and toast but was quick off the mark when yogurts appeared.
Jack and his mum came round after lunch time. They all had a bit of a play before we headed off to the library. It was spotting a little bit, so we put raincoats on Katie and Harrison. It began to really chuck it down as we walked and very very quickly there were impressive puddles for them to splash in. They enjoyed the library, but both wanted to be back outside in the puddles and had a great time walking home puddlejumping.
After we'd come and got everyone dry, they had a bit more of a play and we made a quick stop at the shop before heading to H&A's. They all troughed big bowls of fruit, read a mountain of stories (Aiden decided the way to tell me whcih he wanted next was to bash me on the head with it, bless the little darling!) before eating a good tea. I said to Katie "shall we go home" as I put her in the car. "Katie go our house" she replied. A fun day, but we were definitely both ready to "go our house".
