Sark!

Could the weather in Sark today be any worse?!
We started off okay, trying to keep good spirits and hoping the weather would clear up. Then the boat was rough and everyone felt sick. Then we were cycling around with our friends for half an hour. Came back and were told we were cycling as a group the way we had just come. There were so many hills and the rain was so heavy it turned the (what is usually) dusty ground into thick mud. The rain got heavier and the mud got thicker so we had to push the bikes to a little tea room where we disturbed the other customers and made the place dirty and wet. We had to leave and the next boat wasn't for 2 hours. The next hour was spent pushing our bikes all the way back through the mud, getting wetter and very cold.
Boat was rough going back again, but I've now had a warm bath, hot chocolate and pancakes. I've still got a chill and feel a bit sick, but it's a day we'll always remember!
