Strath Oykel

Out in the field for the first time in a long while.

Stopped for lunch beside the River Oykel in Sutherland. We found a cracking spot for lunch and then the midges descended! Back to the safety of the car!

Good day out, I even managed to pick a few chanterelle mushrooms while I was out. Thankfully I was with someone who knew what they were on about when it came to picking wild mushrooms so I know I didn't pick any wrong 'uns!
