Lime yellow
Lime green is a color that is 75% yellow and 25% green.
I got the above fact from Wikipedia so it must be true. Surely the percentage should swing the naming towards the favour of the yellow?
We were in Tesco last night when I dashed from the checkout to buy a new lime green pot plant for my very lime green kitchen, I came back and placed my purchase on the belt when Marcus scoffed that I could sniff out lime green stuff anywhere. I think I can. I can't resist buying anything that's green or indeed brightly coloured or something that looked like it was in fashion in the 70's.
My most recent ridiculous purchase was a pair of Bermuda shorts in a fetching brown, orange and yellow 70's pattern that wouldn't look out of place on Magnum PI. - I love them (and Magnum PI)
Jules.
