Such a Ceiling in Union Station, Washington, D.C.

It is a sight to behold, the gold decor on the magnificent ceiling (96 feet high) that arches over the waiting room at Union Station. We arrived here yesterday and had a lovely lunch right in the waiting room. When you visit Washington, you really do understand, in a head to foot kind of way, what the word MONUMENTAL means. We are so proud of these amazing buildings and so happy to share them with visitors.
