Peugeot (Tour De France inspired blip)

Thank you for your comments on yesterday's blip. I'll come around to see your blips soon. Due to having had a very long day, I am well short of a good blip today. So I'm trying my best to plug in a picture I took during the day. Honest! So here goes...

Ever since I've known, this bicycle (see large) has been stood in the bicycle shed at work. Despite a cleanup of old relics from the shed, this one has never been claimed. It stands out due to its very peculiar slender frame that holds it together. I've often wondered if I should adopt it and bring it back to a road worthy condition, but that idea has not yet come to pass.

Armand Peugeot hand built Le Grand-Bi (a bit like a Penny Farthing) in 1882. Peugeot produced its first bicycle in 1889 and has had the 'Lion' trademark since the early days of the steel foundry where they were made. When one thinks of the French and their bicycles, they are essentially paying homage to Cycles Peugeot, to which this bicycle owes its lineage.
