My Favorite Band

Framing Exercise: DAY 20

Went up to Boulder to see my favorite band, Blind Pilot. I was sitting behind a couple with an infant (wearing ear muffs to keep the noise down). I took a picture of Israel Nebecker and Kati Claborn here between the shadows of the family. This shot looked better on camera than it does blown up here, but hope it still conveys some warmth.

The band has been getting bigger. Have to thank my sister for introducing their music back when they first got started biking down the West Coast and playing wherever they could. They've been a source of optimism, and though sad to see a hidden gem no longer a secret, am very happy to see their hard work find success.
