Little Owls

Phew, It's been a tough week. First time I've managed to get my blips uploaded.

Sometimes I find it really hard to be mum and dad to the girls, to be good cop and bad cop.

Evie would really suit being an only child...she doesn't like sharing mum with her sisters and although I try to do things with just the two of us, once I'm back from work and have sorted all the other bits I have to do...I don't always manage it and tired tempers get frayed.

The girls were all told to tidy their room tonight...it's hard with them all sharing now we are in a smaller house and a bit of shouting went on between them while I sat trying to work on a broken laptop in the kitchen!

But...no matter how tense things get Evie and I always share a bedtime story.

Tonight, we read Evie's favourite, The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark by Jill Tomlinson.

'You are only afraid of the dark, ' Mrs Barn Owl said, 'because you don 't know about it'
