Victoria Memorial Building

Day 4

Kolkata

The rain falls heavily as if to challenge our tight schedule today. Some travelling again in the rains. Finally the Nikon Authorised Service Centre, Kolkata Branch did the CCD wet cleaning of both the D700s and claimed the SB-900 has to undergo some parts replacement which will cost about rupees eight thousand.

After meals, undertook the programme of the sightseeing for the women and children amidst the non-stoppable intermittent rains. To top above our troubles, today's the meeting point of a huge gathering in the middle of the city for the new chief minister smt. Mamta Bannerjee rendering the whole city into chaos of traffic jam, non availability of transport etc. amidst heavy rush of people and people everywhere. However, rain or no rains, let the programme run on despite a lot of efforts from us. This is the Victoria Memorial Building shot in the rains. After this the programme continues till the last of the marketing specially for leather items.

While at it procured the SB-700 speedlite and two wrinkle free backdrops of white and black from the dealer.

Concluding the day again falls well behind schedule, late at night. Oh, all for a vacation or a workload of vacation!
