Laughed Myself A Six Pack

RockNess - Day 4

What an awesome, fun, laugh-filled weekend :D

Today was all about packing up and heading home... you can't stay at a festival forever, coz the bands stop playing, the food vans close, the toilets are taken away and the cows are let back in the fields, so you kinda have to go home too.

Some of us were up super early, three of the crew were away by 8am. We emptied and packed up The Beast and dragged everything back to the car... in the pouring, pouring rain. Then made the journey home.

This was definitely one of the best weekends I've ever had. There were eight of us camping together and not one of us knew every other person in the crew before the weekend. But we all got on so well. There were no dramas, everyone just had fun. Lots of banter, in-jokes, nonsense and japery. We laughed ourselves six-packs.

With all the other stuff going on in my world at the moment it meant so much to get away from it all and just have fun and see some great live music.

In the words of my Auntie, I will dine out on this for weeks.
