Everybody needs a hobby

And mine is martial arts. I've been doing it for over 25 years now, and teaching it for 20. My speciality is unarmed - Chinese boxing.

Stickfighting is one of the more fun ways to spend an evening, although quite a niche activity. My stick teacher is no longer active, so I've had to take up the mantle. Big shoes to fill, but I think my interpretation of the material has value.

Chances of ever using it - Negligible. Cost of materials & tuition - £hundreds. Fun accrued doing it - Priceless.
